Someone came to meet us near the apartment, we had to wait a bit but it was fine - she showed us the apartment and all its facilities- it's a lovely apartment in the quiet area of l'Aiguillon, which has nice bars & boulangeries and a nearby shop (which is very handy) the beach is very near too. The walk to the centre of Arcachon is about 25 to 30 minutes, you can walk either through the town or by the sea front. The apartment was lovely, the main room is perfect for a couple, the second bedroom has a bunk bed, it is a quiet narrow and small room, for our 2 teenagers it was a bit tight. So you don't want to spend too much time in there. It was lovely to have the balconies on either side of the apartment.

The apartment and location were fabulous. The host kept in constant contact with us and arranged to meet us on the day with the keys, but unfortunately due to us getting delayed with traffic problems, they had to leave them in a lock box but gave very clear instructions on how to enter the property. The area was fantastic with the beach nearby and the town centre within walking distance, with a great choice of bars and restaurants. A great experience.
