Apartment was very clean, bed was comfortable. Located in a great neighborhood close to multiple metro stops, bakeries, food options and shops. Quiet location as windows open to a courtyard and not a busy street. Able to take a mid day nap with windows open when needed. Host was very helpful.
The most perfect location, easy walk to all the museums, fantastic, bakery, literally next-door, best coffee shop across the street. The neighborhood has a very authentic feeling, many Parisians live on the streets, and the building is not overwhelmed with short term rentals. It is a beautiful apartment, very stylishly and thoughtfully designed, adorned either many beautiful accents. The small kitchenette has everything 1 may need and there is even a Miele washer/dryer!
Because the windows face a courtyard, the place is very quiet, you get none of the sounds of traffic on the street. Pierre, our host, was just fantastic. We had a feeling that he really cared about the place and about us finding all the comforts. He was very helpful with local suggestions and we really couldn’t ask for a nicer apartment and its host.
The location was amazing! Great neighborhood, not too touristy, with lots of good restaurants, shopping, and boutiques (chocolatiers, patisseries, flower shops, etc.). Close access to three metro lines. There were multiple grocery store options, with smaller convenience-type stores even closer. Concerning the apartment, the shower was very good and the bed was comfortable. It was plenty of space for a couple, and a great respite from a day out on the town - very relaxing to return to to make a meal or share a bottle of wine, etc. The kitchen was a little sparse but had all the essentials, and we appreciated the coffee machine with easy to use cartridges. The tap water was excellent and refreshing. Also, the apartment was very quiet with the courtyard blocking out all of the street noise. We barely heard the other residents, occasionally someone coming or going up/down the staircase.
