A classic Bordeaux house, and the high ceilinged first floor room has been brilliantly converted into a practical and attractive apartment, with kitchen bathroom living and sleeping spaces well differentiated. Very well appointed. The owner was quick to respond to the few questions we had.
The property suited us very well. It was off the main tourist area, so we felt more local. As I speak French all amenities, bakers and food shop within walking distance. The railway station is about eight minutes walk away. Louison had everything ready for us. Brochures of things to do. Also a UK/euro adapter a nice touch 😄.
This self contained apartment was absolutely perfect for our stay in Bordeaux.

The property is simply gorgeous. It is a very clever space where every nook is optimised and utilised. You feel very much immersed in the beauty of the property when you’re living in it.
Lidl is two minutes away, as is very useful transport systems (very easily to access from the airport). We often walked straight down the road toward the river, and then walked along the river front - lovely!
Staying a little further out from the centre suits us as we like to walk and see as much of a city as possible. The centre is also busy! Stay here for more calm.
In all, place is great, host is great, it is great! Book and enjoy!
