Location was wonderful to start our rides. Little store right at corner. Host was lovely and very helpful to give advice. Also had great cave to store bikes. Had every thing we needed to cook. Would come back:)
comfortable spacious apartment with high ceilings, overlooking the park and within 100m of grocery store. lots of towels which was a real bonus. kitchen well stocked with salt oil dishwashing tablets which was handy. clean. excellent bedding with soft doonas and pillows. the bath was great. also great to have lift (tho small 1sqm) to get luggage up and down, apartment being on 4th floor. welcoming hosts who answered every question very promptly- thank you.
The appartement was close to the train station so we could easily do day trips to Annecy and Chambery. It was comfortable, very clean and had everything we needed. Aix-les-bains itself is a very beautiful town. I would also recommend the lake of Bourget, it’s a bit of a walk from the apartment but definitely worth a visit.
