We enjoyed our 4 night stay in Arles at the apartment of our host, Lise. The apartment is very nice and spacious with interesting architectural features like an ancient arched ceiling in the living area and an old stone clothes wash tub in the hallway. The apartment is in a perfect location, only a block from the Forum. Yet, it is still very quite. The L’Oriel restaurant across the street from the apartment was one of our favorites during our 4 week stay in France. Lise, was very helpful, always answered our trivial questions quickly. And when we had difficulty arranging a ride to the train station her husband drove us there.
