It is a nice sized apartment with a swimming pool situated a little out way out of town. This allowed us to relax in the country side in the evenings after enjoying the hustle and bustle of the centre of Avignon.
I chose this apartment because it is very close to Avignon TGV station. We had an early start the next morning. Our room was very spacious and comfortable, very clean. There was another guest room but it was not occupied so we had the kitchen-dining area just for ourselves. The garden around the house was more like on a farm, part of it filled with big old trees, an old friendly dog, at least two cats, some hens and ducks in one corner; you would not expect this almost in the middle of Avignon. The hosts were extremely friendly and helpfull in many ways. I think this is an interesting place for people who look for space and a different kind of housing.
Entouré d'un très grand jardin , le logement est situé au rez-de-chaussée et est facilement accessible . Nous avions besoin d'un parking sécurisé et là, c'était vraiment le cas, il faut franchir deux grilles pour accéder à la maison . L'hôtesse nous a accueilli avec jovialité . Elle nous a expliqué très clairement l'itinéraire à suivre pour nous rendre au centre ville , trouver une pompe à essence, carte de la région à l'appui . Le logement est propre, bien équipé et bien chauffé. La literie est top, les serviettes de bain aussi . L'hôtesse m'a fort courtoisement expédié la veste et le pull que j'avais oublié chez eux, merci à elle.
Die Vermieter waren sehr herzlich und hilfsbereit und boten sogar den Transport zum TGV-Bahnhof an. Und ich erhielt die größere Wohnung, ohne sie gebucht zu haben - einfach nur, weil sie nicht vermietet war. Sie war blitzeblank. Milch, Wasser, Kaffee und Saft wurden zur Verfügung gestellt.
Die Lage dieser Ferienwohnung ist unglaublich: 2,75 km bis zum TGV-Bahnhof und das Lauteste ist das Gezwitscher der Vögel. Lustig waren die beiden Katzen, die mich neugierig gerne begrüßt hätten. - Allergiker müssen also die großen Terrassentüren geschlossen halten.
