The staff were very helpful and pleasant (while kept very busy!). The breakfasts and evening meal were very good. The room was comfortable and clean and a good size with parking right outside which was handy for us. The terrace has a good view of the chateau in the distance. Good location for a few nights and we were able to cycle around Saumur and to Fontevraud, so a very decent base.

Revisited this campanile having previously stayed there 3 years ago. Brilliant situation & rooms at rear were very private. Tasty & good value evening meal

I had an evening meal in the restaurant which was excellent and just what I needed after a long hot day on a motorcycle, the beer was cold to! My ground floor room allowed me to park the bike right outside and keep an eye on it and on request I was also provided a more secluded room that meant the bike wasn't easily seen, the staff were really friendly and helpful room felt recently refurbished and the shower was fantastic - excellent all round stop when heading further south.

The staff were nice and helpful , my French is poor but the waitress spoke good English and everything worked out well . Thank you
