Surrounded by 20 hectares of vineyards, this chateau provides B&B accommodations in Minervois, 12 mi north of Narbonne. It also features an outdoor swimming pool and free Wi-Fi access in all the accommodations. The guest rooms at Chateau Le Vergel Authenac have a TV, their own bathroom and some of them are air conditioned. Self-catering apartments with a seating area are also available. Staff very accommodating - clean and tidy - beautiful setting
Beautiful gite that was part of an old enclosed estate.
Private and quiet location in the countryside with plenty of wildlife to enjoy.
Nearest towns Bize-Minervois and Ginestas (10 mins away) had good restaurants and bars
Modern decoration, friendly and professional staff, breakfast was amazing
Fabulous location, away from main roads, very peaceful. When we arrived we were told that we had been upgraded to a larger room with the bonus of having a small self catering kitchen which proved to be useful.
Breakfast was superb, very fresh croissants and bread plus cheese, ham etc and very good coffee.
A lovely comfortable place to stay, the rooms were large, cool, and comfortable, the bathroom excellent. A good continental breakfast is available, as is a cooked breakfast. There is a good pool, however we didn’t use this due to the exceptional heat, and also the wasps,as a result! Very well situated in the centre of this beautiful region, and with the coast only a short drive away too.
