She runs a lovely place. The homemade jams and other items were fantastic
It was comfortable, quiet and lots of personality. I could imagine living in this village, and becoming part of the community. It was located in an ideal location for walking and also central to other villages. Hosts very welcoming. The place had all the charm one hopes for! Breakfast was delicious and so filling, do not miss this.
Sabine was great from the initial time we met through the one breakfast we had and to the end. Little extras, good advice on places to go, where to eat, and answers to all our questions. We extended our stay first one then two nights.
The Host Sabin was so VERY gracious!!!
She arranged for dinner reservations nightly, offered excellent advice about the area, provided timely responses to every inquiry.
Daily breakfast was special,grand,delicious. Bergheim location. Private garden courtyard.
Our suite was HUGE and quite comfortable,including a lovely seating area.
Our stay at Chez Norbert exceeded all our expectations for our trip.
The room, decor and cleanliness 10/10. The bed was comfortable and we liked the small lounge area we had. The bathroom was huge! The stained glass windows told a story of local history and the beautiful courtyard was just coming into bloom.
The breakfast provided by Sabine was something else! Local cheeses and delicacies, fresh fruit, fresh bakery products and homemade preserves. Plenty to prepare you for wine tasting in local wineries and vineyards.
