The property is a well appointed apartment behind a huge door, and cast iron gate, in a courtyard of apartments made from 500year old stone buildings in Vieux Lyon. It is up one flight of stone stairs worn smooth over centuries. It has a window into the shared courtyard and windows down into the street of Vieux Lyon. You can people watch for hours or days imagining what it might have been like building such architecture, living and working in such surroundings, or wherever your mind takes you.

Superb location, right in the old city, within an authentic old-style apartment building (so the entrance to the building is as interesting as the apartment itself). The apartment was spacious and had most of the amenities needed for a short stay. Surely, travelling during a heat wave did not help the experience, but the ventilators provided did help to sleep with open windows, despite the lack of an AC.

Great location, in the centre of the old city. The sofa bed was good, the apartment had kitchen utilities so we could cook if we wanted.
