It was in the center of Etretat close to the tourist office, shops, and restaurants. There was a short walk to the boardwalk where we were able to see both cliff arches. The hotel is a quirky Detective themed hotel with some hidden doors and interesting decor. The front desk/owner was very helpful and warm.

What we liked most about the property was the hostess at the front desk. She was more than helpful. She let us in early to store our luggage and at the end of our trip, she let us store our luggage there until we had to go to catch our bus. She also allowed my daughter to sit in the library to work after we had checked out and before we checked in. Again, the hostess was incredible!

Clever Detective theme throughout, included a hidden bathroom and disguised television in our room. Lovely staff that offered wonderful suggestions on where to eat and things to do. Extensive breakfast selection in a well-decorated dining room. Didn't get a chance to hang out in the game room, but there were lots of options.

Breakfast great. Beach towels available terrific. Coffee choices excellent for a machine. Themes fascinating.

This is such a clever, charming hotel! Our room was spectacular and had plenty of space. We loved the breakfast selection of food and coffee maker! The hotel owner’s cat greeted us and was very friendly :) The decor was very impressive and all the furniture was comfortable.
