Fer à Cheval is located in the heart of Mègeve ski resort, just a few minutes from the ski slopes. It offers 2 swimming pools and a Décléor spa with a hammam and hot tub. Rooms at Fer à Cheval are contemporary in style with a traditional, chalet-style atmosphere. Some rooms have views of the mountains and all feature a mini-bar and an LCD TV. After an aperitif in the on-site bar, guests can try Savoyard meals and gourmet cuisine in the 2 on-site restaurants. The hotel also has many seating areas, which provide a nice spot to relax by the fireplace. A free shuttle service is available to the ski elevators of Mont d'Arbois. The breakfast was good. They have the main things.
Fabulous location, close enough to town to wander, but far away enough to feel private. The chalet feel was very well done, not over the top, just right.
