The location is truly beautiful, you feel fully in nature. It was quiet and peaceful when I stayed. The view is spectacular and you can see it even when you are in the swimming pool. There are so many little areas that are so well thought out by Gilbert (who also has some chickens and turtles!) The daybed for relaxing, the outside kitchen is the more extensive kitchen and at night there are lots of little lights that make it feel very magical. Gilbert himself gives you space but checks that you are okay and the little extras and help was so appreciated! I would not hesitate to return. If you want to get away from reality this is such a lovely place.

Wonderful quiet location with fabulous views overlooking the sea and the pool was a bonus in the hot weather. Gilbert was a perfect host and was particularly helpful when we had a problem with our car!

The location and amazing views! This is a really quirky little place up on the mountain. It’s roughly a 20min walk from the town centre but be aware that is pretty much in a vertical direction! however there is a bus service. The host was so accommodating, collecting and dropping me at the station and made me feel very welcome. It was lovely and peaceful to retreat there after spending the day down in the town.
