Hotel Cardinal is right in the center of the historic district in Rouen. It is very clean and for the price it was a very good room. Of course, since it is in the historic center there is no parking so you have to find parking elsewhere. Still a good value for the money
Location right next to the cathedral provided spectacular view. Room was clean, comfortable and quiet. Breakfast was very good.
Very accessible to sites, restaurants and markets. Easily walkable. Comfortable modern beds/bathrooms. Amazing view of Cathedral. Breakfast available. Accommodating- we were able to have rooms next to each other so family was close.
The breakfast was just fine, a variety of choices arranged buffet-style. It's a convenience if you're looking to launch into the day and see Rouen. It's also a treat if you enjoy croissants, yogurt ...
Breakfast was adequate. Good selection of juices, fruits, breads, croissants (of course!) and cheese. Everything fresh and nice. Excellent brasserie, patisserie, and shops nearby and of course the cathedral. My balcony overlooked the square, cathedral bells pealed out at noon. The Christmas festival was in progress, so it was magical.
