You need to stay here, it's a home away from home. It has everything you could possibly need to spend a few days to explore Normandy. This little town is just gorgeous, with many options to eat out, and free parking, steps away from your front door. And the owner, Nicolas, couldn't have done any more for us, he's a fantastic host!!!!

Great location if you want to be in the middle of things. Nicolas is a great host and it helps that his shop is below. Port-en-Bessin is a lovely little fishing village and you have access to all you need.

The apartment was exceptional - beautifully decorated, comfortable and spotlessly clean. We used it as a base to visit the D-Day landing beaches and the Bayeux Tapestry. The port itself has an interesting wartime history and a regular fish market. There were plenty of fantastic restaurants and bars just a stones throw from the apartment. We were lucky enough to be staying over Bastille Day and there was a magnificent fireworks display to mark the celebration.

The location was amazing, right amongst it in Port en Bessin, walking distance to everything in the town. We had everything we needed and more.

Zeer vriendelijke en attente host. Goede communicatie tijdens reis met praktische aanwijzingen voor parkeren etc. Alles zeer schoon. Keuken en badkamer nieuw, modern en volledig ingericht. Je kunt het zo gek niet bedenken of het is er. Inclusief gourmetstel. Goed bedden, opgemaakt, ook handdoeken etc aanwezig. Zeer geschikt voor gezinnen of voor 3 stellen. (Wel doen met 1 badkamer dan). Als we al iets misten was het een balkon of tuin, maar in de zonnige, brede vensterbanken zitten en uitkijken op het pleintje ook erg leuk. Uitstekende uitvalsbasis voor D-day stranden.
