I don't think there exists a more central, convenient location in Uzes - about 20 steps from the Place aux Herbes - in a fantastic historic building with a lovely shared courtyard. The apartment is unique and charming - ideal for a couple - with thoughtful design and furnishings (stone sink in the bathroom is quite cool). For a relatively small space, it has everything we needed. The owners (Rolan and Isabelle) were friendly and helpful, both before we arrived (via email) as well as in person to receive keys and a review of the property. We took advantage of the kitchen (we made breakfasts and a few dinners), and it was well-equipped and clean. Great bathroom with a rain-head shower. The place really felt like a cozy, artsy retreat that I loved going home to after exploring Uzes and environs.

Our charming host Rolan kindly waited for us at the parking garage while we figured out where to park, etc. The apartment is thoughtfully turned out; everything is top-drawer, from the luxurious bed linens to the pristine kitchen. Our hosts did an admirable job of decorating, all the way down to the quirky little touches that gave the rooms such charm. We really appreciated having a clothes washer and dryer, as well as a dishwasher. The location couldn't be better, just a few steps away from the main Place aux Herbes. We'll certainly return!
