Breakfast is wonderful. The people are helpful and friendly. It's close to the Australian War Memorial. I love the quiet nature, the 5 handsome roosters, and the nearby steakhouse. There is plenty of espresso:) They offered a delicious breakfast of croissants, some sort of pastry, yogurt, boiled eggs, apples and fruit. The breakfast area is nice. The room is comfy:)
Hosts are beyond generous. The property is nice and quiet. We had a great night rest. Highly recommended
It was secluded, quiet and calming. The hosts were fabulous.
The hosts are really nice and helpful. They shared some of the local history and culture when I asked. There were cute roosters, chickens, a pair of ducks, and lots of doves, along with pretty flowers. And when I asked about restaurants, the host called a nice restaurant and made reservations for me. I was going horseback riding on the Somme Battlefield the next day, in the next little village. However, they all seem to know each other, and the host called the horse owner to tell him I was in town, and the next day I was able to ride the horse with the horse owner on his horse. Then, when I made lodging reservations in another little nearby town, the horse owner called those hosts to tell them I was coming, and he kindly drove his car ahead of mine so that I didn't get lost on the winding roads.
The host was very helpful and friendly, greeting us with a beer, some books about the local area and he drove us to the station at the end of our stay. Also, the breakfast for two was extremely generous.
