High ceiling building, really nice interior decoration, every detail has been thought. Really liked it.
Great location in the heart of Old Lyon. Public parking is nearby, and the flat is easy to find. It is accessed via a medieval spiral staircase, and there are a lot of stairs. If stairs are a problem for you, you'll want to choose a different place.
The main room is spacious and well-appointed, with a delightful mix of original walls and beams, yet all mod cons. I loved that there were maps and brochures for the top tourist sites and restaurants, and a binder from the host chock full of useful information about Lyon.
Note that the loft space where the bed is located is quite small and has a low ceiling. It's cozy and comfortable but takes getting used to.
Host Laurent was soooo responsive and generous! We were met in person and given keys. There was also a lock box and door codes. Laurent checked in with us throughout the visit to make sure all was well. You'll be hard-pressed to find a more congenial host.
Very beautiful decoration in the small studio house. Clean and cosy feeling. The host was so funny to remind us to have some exercise done to get to the house which is in the 3rd floor.
The location in Vieux Lyon was perfect: very close to many sights, just off the River Saone, close to restaurants.
It is in an old building but tastefully decorated with modern furniture and decorations.
The apartment was well appointed with dishes, cutlery, glasses, etc. Very comfortable sitting area with two large sofas.
A short walk to the Metro over to the city center. Easy to get on and off. Good connections to lots of places in the city.
The host was fantastic and the unit was great and just as described. Very clean and perfect for our needs.
