The site of an old, very beautifully built, sprawling factory is not a place you expect a hotel. It is a museum (and UNESCO world heritage) and as it closes at 18:00 the grounds stay open for the guests. Wandering around is a real treat. The hotel rooms have been put into some the workers quarters and are quite well done.

Reception not continually staffed, but staff member became available soon after our arrival to reception desk.
The location is amazing and full of history- a privilege to be able to stay- unfortunately for us it was a stop by before driving back to the UK so we could not visit the Museum as we left early. We will be back soon !
The accommodation is in an amazing grand set of buildings that’s a UNESCO site. Totally unique and quirky place to stay but not really a hotel. There are large gardens around the outside which you can use during the evening for a picnic when the site is closed to save driving out to find a restaurant.
Really fantastic breakfast - all organic and made / grown locally or even on site. Surprisingly affordable rooms despite being in wonderful heritage buildings. It was lovely to be able to wander around the world heritage site after all the visitors had left and early in the morning.
