I was warmly greeted by Victoire and she cheerfully accommodated my uncertain arrival time. Delightful courtyard in which to relax, with a view of the nearby towers of the cathedral. Secure, covered bike parking.

Everything. Host, Victoire, was super friendly, approachable, and incredibly helpful in finding things to do and good stores and restaurants in Autun. She was instantly available by a text or email but gave us perfect privacy in an elegantly restored centuries-old building just around the block from one of the greatest examples of Romanesque architecture in France, the Cathedral of St. Lazare. An example: we used up the coffee provided and after one email, within about 15 minutes, her husband dropped off a fresh container. Our apartment had lovely windows overlooking the street and most of the shops, restaurants, stores were only a couple of blocks away and yet there was no noise or the feeling of being in the middle of an urban scene. Of course, Autun is, in my humble opinion, the real France.

The apartment was beautiful and comfortable. The pop up restaurant was delicious. The location was perfect. It was a short stay but we will remember it forever!

beautiful concept, Friday night in the courtyard was wonderful and the food was fantastic. The proprietor Victoire was a fantastic host, warm and friendly and welcoming.
