The kitchen facilities were very good and easy to use. Good soundproofing- no noise from the busy street. You could open the window to hear the church bells from directly opposite! The double bed was comfortable though not big.
Getting into the building was very stressful. Confusing method of entry. The door did not open after calling the given number and having the call rejected as we were told it would. Luckily someone else living in the building happened to come by and let us in. The building is very old and the steep staircase made it very difficult to get up to the third floor with two heavy suitcases (No elevator)
The location is excellent. I like how we picked up the keys (the initial call to unlock the outer door and the keys provided in the lockbox). Washing and drying machine. Comfortable beds in both rooms. Large kitchen. Friendly host and very helpful. Close to several supermarkets. The neighborhood is nice and safe.
As others have said, great location, especially if you're OK with a 15-20 minute walk to the Vieux Port area. You'll feel more like you're hanging out with locals rather than sitting in a primary tourist location. The property was clean, appointed well, and everything was in working order. Many other reviews mention the darkness of the entry - we also climbed up with our luggage and cell-phone flashlights before finding that there's a timed-light switch on the left inside the front door (and one on every level for exiting, too.) Problem solved! Click the button and it lights up the entire staircase and then turns itself automatically in several minutes.
Very good location. 2 minute walk from the metro. 2 stops from the old port and the central train station. Has all the required amenities. Nice kitchen and living room. 2 bedrooms.
Location was great, could walk to all the sites. Clean. Appreciated the washer and dryer. Kitchen was adequate for the three of us.
