Delicious selection of food. The view was amazing.
Very picturesque village in the heart of France, well worth a detour. Be ready for a very steep and narrow street to access the hotel. The breakfast room is very nice and so was breakfast. I didn't have the opportunity to try the hotel's table d'hôtes but the hotel made an excellent recommendation for dinner nearby (Le Maraicher restaurant).
Collonges La Rouge is a unique, pretty village, and it felt special to be able to stay there, as most visitors were only there for the day. The dinner on the terrace with the view of the unusual red brick buildings in the evening sun as pictured, and breakfast in a delightful morning room with a different but equally pleasant view were delicious, so all in all, a great stay.
Beautiful property in the centre of the village. The terrace was beautiful and well shaded. The property was carefully kept as cool as possible, despite the 40 degree temperature.
Most importantly, the lady who ran it was very proactive and accommodating, including for our small baby who made some noise in the evening! Thank you.
Lovely building in perfect position, a little raised above the street level on the edge of the village and with particularly good views as a result. Warm welcome and very good service, excellent breakfast and dinner too.
