The apartment has everything you need and the view is fantastic. You can reach the beach (ant the closest supermarket) on foot (a 5 minutes walk downhill, a bit more when you come back uphill). You can go downtown either with the bus (line 8) or just with a 20 minutes walk.

The apartment is a good size with a big balcony and an amazing view. There was also a lovely pool. It contained everything we could possibly need including a washing machine and a proper hair dryer which both of which were very much appreciated. The decor is dated and the air con in the living room wasn’t working which didn’t cause a problem to be fair as we just kept the shutters down to keep the room cool. It is on a hill (that’s why you have the great views) but this means that there is a steep walk into the town and back which is fine if you’re mobile but would cause a problem if not. Menton itself is a lovely wee place well worth a visit. A regular and inexpensive train service allows you to travel into Vertimiglia in Italy or to Monaco, Nice etc.
