Spacious rooms. Everything worked well eg wifi, TV, hot water. Location: there is a Carrefour Cite five minutes away directly across from the appartment. All the food and alcohol you might need. Even has a little deli inside. There is a great boulangerie a few minutes away from the appartment, just up the road and across to the right, near the big church.There are two tabacs close by. One near the boulangerie. Town centre is no more than 10 minutes away, with a nice market in the square outside the grand church on Wednesday mornings. Parking is easy on the street. A 10 minute walk to the the riverside is worth doing; very peaceful with great street furniture and well kept gardens. And a few minutes along to the thriving fresh fish market. All good!

The bed was extremely comfortable, there was Netflix and Paramount so watched a movie in our chosen language. Spacious living area with a sofabed sofa. Host was very friendly and helpful even though we had to phone him late at night for help as we hadn't read the instructions properly and were trying to access the wrong box. They were also very kind the next day and let us stay an extra hour as were were waiting news on our broken down motorbike - the reason we had been brought to Boulougne even though we had a hotel booked in Calais. The building is old so it's nice to get to experience the older apartments in an established area of Boulougne, with old features from perhaps the 40s, 50s or 60s?

The apartment has everything you need. Perfect for 2 people. Very comfortable bed.
