An exceptional property in Saint Emilion. The moment we checked into our spacious, air conditioned room (I think #1782), we could relax and wind down. Very comfortable room, bed, bedding. Slept great tho it was 38 degrees (over 100 F) outside. Great shower and double sinks. Wished I’d had time to enjoy the bath. Appreciated water and delicious cookies in the room. Staff very gracious. Breakfast good. Unfortunately their dinner restaurant wasn’t open Sunday, but we had one of our best meals of month long travel (at similar cost) just at the top of the hill at L’envers du Decor.
THE SERVICE STAFF WAS ABSOLUTELY EXCEPTIONAL. SO NICE AND VERY HELPFUL, ESPECIALLY WITH OUR LUGGAGE. THE MORNING BREAKFAST WAS EXCELLENT. THE FACILITIES WERE VERY NICE AS WAS OUR ROOM.
The room and views from our room were beautiful, lovely cold breakfast and friendly staff.
Breakfast was wonderful. The staff were unbelievably accommodating to all requests and helped us book tastings and tours. The view from the room was spectacular look at the Tour de Roy and the Bell Tower. Restaurant was an amazing culinary experience.
Location. Aesthetically, the combination the French are so great at-juxtaposing very old architecture with contemporary conveniences.
