The area around was very calm, the room was clean and the staff was friendly. There was a place to sit and just chill outside of the room, a nice change from hotels where you don't have this freedom. Breakfast was very tasty.

The location has good parking and is convenient to Verdun sites and not too far from Metz, which has a lot of attractions. The charming manager, Cecile, served a beautifully presented, tasty breakfast, and was full of inside local information for tourists. Although we arrived very late on our first night, she arranged an easy way for us to get to our rooms. A bonus was a fantastic view of the Milky Way; there's no light pollution to speak of! Many travelers will enjoy strolling around the ample, peaceful grounds of the historic residence.

Historical building on a lovely property within 30min drive of the Verdun area, and 10min drive to grocery stores, restaurants. Comfortable, spacious and clean rooms, with good continental breakfast.

They were so kind, and the room was lovely, and the garden around the building very special. This is one wing in a large house that is run as a bed and breakfast, both simple and historical and very comfortable.

It is in a gorgeous location, with beautiful grounds, beautiful shared communal spaces, very quiet area. The landlady, Cecile, was wonderful: warm, friendly, flexible, and helpful. The rooms were spotless, full of history, with truly amazing bathrooms, with above average facilities. There was also a tea service on our floor to which we could help ourselves, and a fresh, tasty contintental breakfast. There are also many restaurants in the area - we found a delicious local sushi place that was reasonably priced. Perfect for our overnight stay. It also seems an ideal location for weddings or other large parties.
