Old, unique, unusual. Loved it. Quiet. Great location to center of town and yet off the main tourist route. Loved the small restaurants in the very immediate vicinity. Short walk to Les Halles.

This apartment is huge! And so comfortable, with 2 sitting rooms. There is no air conditioning, but plenty of fans keep things cool. It is very close to the bustle of Place d’Horloge but in a very quiet square.
Bernadette the host was very quick to respond to messages, and was very helpful, even arranging 2 separate taxis to the station. Do yourself a favour in Avignon and rent this apartment!
Great historical apartment in the heart of Avignon. Very large and comfortable in a great location (right next to the Palais des Papes). It was a little challenging to find the apartment the first time, but once we knew where it was located it was perfect. Even though it's right in the heart of Avignon, it was very quiet. Parking was convenient and less than 5 minutes away, a supermarket was within a 10 minute walk, as well as a bakery and other stores. Having a washing machine and iron available was very helpful.
