Check in was easy, the receptionist was helpful, the two bedroom apartment was very clean and had everything we needed. The pool and sauna was an added bonus, we loved it and would definitely return.

Very comfortable
We loved the facilities and location. Be aware that this is a dual purpose residence - it also is home to a number of elderly guests. Plenty of free transport options outside the place to take you to the city centre and surrounds. The Dunkirk War Museum 1940 is only 5 to 10 minutes by taxi and worth visiting. There is a free bus that goes to De Panne station in Belgium which is also 20 mins by taxi. On Saturdays there is a market right next door. The reception staff were very helpful.
Fantastic accommodation, but we were surprised to find we had booked into vacant rooms in an elderly people's home. Nevertheless the accommodation was spacious and great. Close to the centre and the port. The room was very clean, and the verandah was huge, everything except A/C in the room but it was warm.
Local bus transport is all free and excellent to look about. Check out the tourist information centre at the clock tower, climb to the top when the bells are ringing. The Dune Fort on C1 bus line is worth a look.
