It is very pleasant with a balcony overlooking a lovely park. The location is perfect. You can walk to the old port or downtown easily. If you prefer driving, there is free parking near the port. There is frequent bus service and a train station if you like to take day trips. The lake is gorgeous and it's easy to visit Annecy if you're interested.
If you want to rest and relax, there is a huge television with many options. You have a small grocery nearby and a boulanger around the corner. There is an elevator (lift) if you need it and the parking is locked. The shower is wonderful but it is a handheld in case you are not used to that. We loved it.
