Loved my little apartment with a view on the street but I was 5 floors up a treacherous narrow staircase with 2 heavy bags (traveling for over a month). I almost pulled my shoulder out carrying my bags up and down. I watched a lovely old lady struggle up and down with a cane too.
You need to let people know there is no elevator. And they can make the decision if they are physically capable of staying on the 4th or 5th floor.
A clean, comfortable and attractive apartment, with good facilities. Light and airy. Well positioned in the centre of old Rouen, with good views of the rooftops in all directions. Delphine was very friendly and helpful. Near public transport and major attractions within walking distance.
The location was incredible! You can walk to see all the sights along beautiful historic streets. Grocery store, restaurants are close by. The apartment was roomy and clean with everything needed. The bed was very comfortable. There was some noise from the patio restaurant near by & the apartment is located up a number of stairs on the top floor. This would not deter me from renting again! Good views from all the windows! Our host was friendly & super responsive to our questions. Wonderful stay. We plan to return!
Perfect location in heart of historical centre. On top floor so plenty of steps to keep you fit and good views. Spacious with separate kitchen for simple cooking (no oven but microwave and hob). Bed could be more comfortable. Light, airy, modern space.
The apartment was cozy and beautifully decorated, spacious enough, well furnished and clean. I literally had there everything I needed. It's in a beautiful historical building, in a super central location, walking distance from all monuments, shops and restaurants. I loved the view and also hearing the bells from St. Maclou. The host was very friendly and helpful. Internet and heating worked really well too.
