Marc was right there when I arrived and helped me get situated in the room. He responded quickly to texts and lined up a cab for me when I left.
The room was clean and modern. It was well-lit and the two big windows looked out over the street.
Convenient for shopping for necessities.
The building dates from 1827, I think. I really appreciated the old finishes that were left showing.
Marais is a perfect location with grocery, shopping, great restaurants and transportation nearby and not crazy crowded (early June). We enjoyed the apartment space and fully equipped kitchen to relax. Having a king size bed with an ensuite bathroom was a huge plus for us. We loved opening the windows and experiencing city life and sounds all around us. The history of the property is interesting. Owner Marc is an excellent host and very responsive to any questions. He assisted with transportation and Phillipe (driver) was wonderful and very helpful.
The location was great for access to the metro & local restaurants. It was away from the overcrowded tourist areas and seemed very safe at night, The apartment was comfortable and the communication with the host was excellent.
Property was on the first floor, it was small & compact, contained everything we needed. We were there in late December, whether was cold, apartment was well heated. Location was great, lots of restaurants and shops close by. Notre Dame a 5-minute walk.
The suite was very spacious and well appointed. It was by far the best place we stayed in across 3 cities.
