Housed in a historic building, the recently renovated Villa Amara offers accommodations with an infinity pool and free Wifi. The air-conditioned accommodations are 20 miles from Marseille Saint-Charles Train Station. Private parking can be arranged at an extra charge. The guest house provides guests with a terrace, garden views, a seating area, satellite flat-screen TV, a fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher and an oven, and a private bathroom with walk-in shower and slippers. A microwave, a fridge, and stovetop are also featured, as well as a coffee machine and a kettle. At the guest house, the units are fitted with bed linen and towels. Villa Amara was such a lovely, peaceful oasis for us. We especially liked relaxing in the beautiful outdoor area as we enjoyed our wine and charcuterie. Lilly was so kind, gracious, and quick to respond to any questions we had. She also directed us to her favorite places to visit which was so appreciated. We couldn’t be more pleased with our experience at Villa Amara and highly recommend it!!
The property was beautiful, well appointed and the location was perfect. When you stay at Villa Amara you are right next to the center of old town but feel like you’re in a little oasis. Also, if you rented a car there’s parking onsite.
Villa Amara is beautiful and centrally located! The suite and facilities were immaculate, you can really tell the host, Lilli, has an attention to detail. Lilli was very easy to communicate with and very gracious with her time, talking with us about our trip and giving excellent recommendations. We were truly sad to leave after our 4 night visit.
Villa Amara is an elegant and charming destination, located a stone's throw from the heart of Aix-en-Provence.
The host, Lilli Engle, could not have been more accommodating. Her recommendations for touring the area were excellent.
The villa is tucked behind a gate and an unassuming building. Beyond is a most beautiful villa and pool. Our suite was, after traveling for a week in France- grand with everything we could want.
