Clotaire is an immensely warm person and we loved having him as a host. We of course also absolutely adored the nine cats present on the property. The only problem is we could barely get out of the house without finding another cat to pet ;)
Like always, we were welcomed like old friends, the owner made us feel like coming home. We relaxed on the peaceful terrace with a beer and a bunch of lovely cats. (If you leave your door open and are lucky, Choupinou the cat sleeps with you.) We had to leave very early and got a lunch bag instead of breakfast. That was perfect for us.
A wonderful stay, the room was really spacious and beautiful with a comfortable bed. No ensuite but we were the only guests at the time so nearly ensuite. Was lovely to meet the resident cats. Our host was very friendly and helpful and there was a lovely breakfast, with specially ordered gluten-free bread to cater to our requirements.
We had a wonderful visit, all facilities were a good standard. Our host was polite and friendly and served us a wonderful breakfast. Nothing is too much bother for him. This is our second visit looking forward to our third. 😃
Spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated eclectic mix of French antique and vintage furniture. Bed really comfy with quality bedding.
