Quiet, private & walking distance to the city center. Comfortable bed. Clean with everything you need to feel at home.
The apartment felt like a mini chateau. great furnishings, comfortable bed, fully supplied kitchen. The location was an easy walk to the old town shops and restaurants and raft driving distance to the prehistoric caves.
The property was very clean and nicely decorated. The location was at the edge of the town so a 10 minute walk into the centre and old town (meaning no need to take or park a car at night)
The property has a lovely terrace area for evenings or breakfast.
The host was very helpful and responsive. And there are also friendly neighbours.
There is a Lidl a short walk away so good if you want to make your own food in the well equipped kitchenette. Loads of choices of restaurants and bistrots in town
We arrived at:
Apartment Fontaine de L'Amour, Saerlat.
We were greeted by Edna's smiling bright face the owner of the property. From that moment we knew it was going to be a great stay.
Edna gave plenty of infotmation about the apartment, the area and everything we asked.
We found a very clean, fully equipped and comfortable apartment.
It found out that the apartment is in a quiet neighborhood very close to the of the the center of Sarlat.
We stayed two weeks which were magical. Our hosts, Edna and Jean-Claude became friends, open and generous hearts and a constant smile.
Would we like to return?
