Breakfast with Annie was great. Her knowledge and stories of the island, it's history, and the people of Marquesas was a treat. The view from the deck is spectacular! Annie coordinating airport pick up and the help in coordinating Island tour activities.
Fare Manutea is a beautiful place to stay. It has stunningly beautiful views and Annie is a fabulous host. We had a lovely breakfast with her each morning and enjoyed good conversations. She took us to the town when we needed to go there and picked us up. Tours are arranged with Annie's daughter and we thoroughly enjoyed a full day tour.
We feel so privileged to visit Fare Manutea on the beautiful island of Nuku Hiva. A breathtaking view of Taioha'e Bay greeted us every day of our 8 day visit. Annie was the most gracious hostess, looking after us in all respects. Such a comfortable bungalow and lovely breakfasts with her and a marvelous dinner with her and her family. Always making sure we have all we need and taking us into the village and showing us around. Her knowledge of the island, the history and Marquesan people is fantastic and we learnt so much. Merci beaucoup to Annie and Laurane for organising the excursions and boat trips - to Hakaui to see Vaipõ waterfall, the archeological sites, Hatiheu, Anaho, Taipivai and all the places in between. We will always remember the endemic birds we saw, especially the Upe!, Mantas, feeding the sharks and the eels, the snorkeling and the picture perfect viewpoints of this island paradise. Laurane is an amazing guide.

Annie was the most kind hostess. The view from the verandah was stunning and breakfast delicious with home made jams. I really loved my stay with her.
