Ivanka is the kindest host we could have asked for. She was sweet and communicated well, despite us not having a language in common. She took such good care of us, was available for any questions we had. Our children adored her by the end of our visit.
The apartment is spacious and comfortable for a family of four. There's a big entrance hall which is great for luggage and for keeping the living spaces clean. The air conditioning is great, though we had bad weather for much of our stay so we didn't need it all the time.
The apartment is a short (steep!) walk from a lovely little stone beach, which is connected to the small village of Bakarak by a coastal path. We spent hours swimming in the sea from that small beach.
Nice and friendly host. Perfectly equipped apartment in a quiet environment. Beautiful view of the mountains and the sea. The island of Krk, the surrounding towns and beaches can be reached quickly from here by car.
The apartment was very clean and comfortable. The property was situated in a very much calm and quiet area with a great view. Location of the apartment was easy to find and not far off from Rijeka centre.
The host was very friendly however we had some communication problems as she was only able to speak in German and no english at all.
Also Wifi although made available was very weak and we could not manage to connect our laptop to it, luckily we were on holiday and not a working trip.
Lastly although there is a lot of greenery and scenic views next to the apartment, we were not able to open the doors or windows as there were no insect screens installed and we were being invaded by mosquitoes.
Very cosy, clean and comfortable apartment with very friendly landlord Ivanka. Around 2 km to closest beach but worth to walk. We spend here nice few days of our holidays.
