Zaton is very pretty. Everywhere is clean and there is a choice of several restaurants within a 10 minute walk.
The pool is ideal, set in lovely gardens, with views to the mountains beyond.
The apartment is basic but has everything you need.
One of the finest hosts we have met who not only explained about the property but also gave us very good information about the nearby places. They allowed us to keep our bags before the check-in and the place was very clean. The pool was very clean as well. Has all the amenities as mentioned in the description. The place is 20 mins away from Dubrovnik and hence not crowded at all. You have couple of restaurants within walking distance. The place is well connected by Buses which is suggested but even can be reached by Taxi from Dubrovnik town.
The apartment was perfect for our needs. Clean, fully equipped with all amenities plus added extras (wine, bread, cheese and ham on arrival. Homemade local produce on departure). Ira and her family went over and above to make it the perfect family holiday for us. Situated in the beautiful, peaceful town of Zaton, we had an idyllic stay with our 4 year old son who loved the stoney beaches and pool.
Great location, excellent facilities, exceptionally clean and well maintained. Lovely hosts.
Hosts of this property are lovely and genuinely want you to enjoy your stay. Apartment is spotless and has everything you need for your stay. Ira, one of the hosts explained about the property and also gave us very good information about the nearby places.
The property itself is 20 mins away from Dubrovnik by car and hence not crowded at all. You have couple of restaurants within walking distance. The place is well connected by buses to visit Dubrovnik.
Veliki Zaton itself is a lovely village with possibilities to have a small hike in the forest or to take a walk next to sea the to Mali Zaton.
The pool is very nice to swim and enjoy the sun, as the beaches around Zaton are pebbly. You should use swimming shoes.
