I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Lavanda. I was pleasantly surprised at how comfortable my bed was. I didn't know I booked a 3-room apartment so I was amazed at how much space I had in the room. Breakfast was good and plentiful and they were even kind enough to make me a sandwich to take with me due to my early morning departure. The location is a bit far from Kotor but a bus stop close to the hotel takes you into town. The couple who ran the hotel ensured I had a copy of the bus schedule and helped me navigate riding the bus back and forth daily. I loved the proximity to the sea. I couldn't swim due to the cold temperature but it was nice to sit out by the water to read and journal.
This was a lovely place to stay. Warm welcoming hosts, easy parking, amazing food. Far enough away from the tourist center to have an authentic experience but close enough to get everywhere we wanted to go. We wished we could have stayed longer.
