Guest House Pod Hajkem, Горни Бранна, Чешская Республика

This was one of the warmest welcomes I've ever had at a pension. It really felt like we were truly guests and everything was done to make sure our stay was comfortable and pleasant. I traveled with a friend and we each brought our 2 year olds. The stairs inside the room that separates one bedroom from the other made us a little uncomfortable at first, but the children were able to go up and down with ease. For more privacy I would just suggest booking two bedrooms since there is no closed space between you and whoever you travel with. The space around the pension was so peaceful: the children played in the garden with all the toys and really enjoyed the swimming pool. Since it's on a biofarm we were able to see cows and chickens which was lovely. And THE FOOD. WOW: personal buffet style breakfast for each guest and absolutely delicious dinners. The owners were so sweet and friendly it felt like we were staying with family .

The location is very quiet and quite comfortable to reach mountains for skiing or hiking by car (30 min drive to Spindleruv Mlyn). The rooms are simple but very modern and clean, with a floor heating. Breakfast was served per person (not a buffet), but good quality and sufficient. The hosts are super friendly and nice people.
