Great communication and hospitality. Perfect for the price!
When I booked one of the cheapest options in Prague for 1 night, I didn't expected more than a bed for the night. Instead I was welcomed into a neoclassical old building, into a privately own apartment which felt more like visiting someone you know than a hostel, in the coziest room you could imagine, with a view of the trains station and occasional distant noice of passing trains (which I love!). The room had a towel, cutlery, refrigerator, plenty of power sockets and water-heating electric device:) It's adjacent to the National museum and the train station and it has at least one 24 hours supermarket and a metro station in like 10 minutes walk. The apartment is on the 2nd floor, and you can reach it via fancy new elevator.
The staff were very welcoming and explained everything well. Our room was bigger than expected and had lots of useful stuff like mugs and a kettle.
We stayed one and a half days longer than we normally should. Because we missed our bus. But the hostel owner Michael didn't mind and let us stay. I am very grateful to him for this understanding. The permanent guests of the hostel are very kind to you. I would definitely recommend you to meet Mario especially. His general culture is very good, we had long conversations with him during my stay. Thanks again to Michael for his kind gesture. And yes, I definitely recommend it.
