Located on a quiet hilltop in Cademario in the Malcantone region, a 15-minute drive from Lugano, the Al Ponte offers views of Lake Lugano and the mountains from all rooms. Swimming pool is available from May to September. All rooms at this family-run hotel have their private balcony with sun loungers. WiFi is provided in all areas for free. Local and international cuisine is served in the Al Ponte Terrazzo Restaurant and Pizzeria, which overlooks Lake Lugano. Hiking and mountain bike trails are 0.6 mi away. Bioggio can be reached by car in 10 minutes, and Manno is a 20-minute drive away. Lugano Airport is 25 minutes away by car.

The owner are amazing
They are always available for help with very a smile
From the moment we arrived, we felt warmly welcomed. One of the owners, the lovely “Sweet Fabiola,” was there to greet us personally at 11 PM. She gave us a quick tour of the property and even helped us carry our bags to the room — a rare and thoughtful gesture.
The next morning, I woke up to a full itinerary sent via WhatsApp, filled with recommendations for activities on the lake and in the mountains. The same level of care and attention was given again for Day 2 — a truly personalized experience.
The location is simply breathtaking. Just a 3KM walk uphill from the property takes you into one of the most peaceful forest trails imaginable, with rivers, a waterfall, and a little pond that feels straight out of a fairytale. Don’t miss it!
The views are amazing and the hospitality cannot be matched. Also very well equiped and super clean rooms.I cannot think of a better place for relaxed family or couple vacation. We will definitely be back. :D don't forget to bring your swimming suits 👙
The view is amazing along with an amazing staff. Also, there was free public transportation to and from the hotel to visit the city.

Ms Fabiola took really good care of our family and went extra mile from guiding us for further onward trip, preparing dinner even after the Resturant close time , arranging tickets and ensuring we were comfortable in all the ways .
She is an exceptional host 👍
