The location to town, ski lift (glacier paradise), train station was perfect. Everything was in walking distance. For reference it was myself, husband, and 7yo.
Within a short walk of everything you wanted to do within the town. Train station one direction, gondola the other. (This was a summer visit, so no comment on carrying skis). Plenty of bars, restaurants, cafes and a shops (including groceries) within a couple mins walk. Communal coin operated laundry room available - two of each (washer/dryer), although operating hours are limited to 8-20.
Note there is no direct view of the Matterhorn as you are on the ground level with a building blocking the view, although you have a nice patio on a grassy area. But you can catch a glimpse within 1 minute outside the door… or should I say, check to see if you can get a glimpse… she’s a tricky one to catch with no cloud coverage.
Also note that unlike other properties “across the river”, there is no steep inclines to steps to navigate to get to the property.
Location is excellent. Check in was easy. Outside area was nice. Kitchen facilities were good. WIFI was excellent. Also we were accommodated early check in.
Seemless entry, clean facilities, very comfy bed and close to town centre. It had everything we needed! We loved our stay in Zermatt. Thank you!
Nadia was an exceptional host and so helpful for two aged people if we had any questions. Her property was an outstanding place to stay - clean, great comfortable bed and shower & all appliances for cooking at home if you wanted to. Home away from home with a lovely outdoor area to sit and take in the view, birds & read if you want. Easy to walk around & short taxi ride to take your luggage if required. Plus we were able to launder our clothes, such a bonus when travelling light.
