The location is perfect. It is right across from the train station, so arriving at the apartment is very easy. There is an elevator in the building and a laundrette downstairs. It's 6 CHF/liter. Best of all, a grocery store in the building makes it easy to buy and prepare your own meals, which is nice because Zermatt is expensive. Public transportation is a breeze, so if you want to take the gondola up on the other side of town, you just jump on the bus across from the train station and are there in 10 minutes. This was a lovely place to stay, and we would plan another trip again.

The key pick up is dead easy from a hotel just a minute's walk up the main road on the right. The flat's location is perfection, so central, right next to the station on flat ground so wheeling luggage is the easiest thing to do. We'd planned to have a drink in the village on one of the two nights but once we'd sat on the balcony looking out at the Matterhorn we were transfixed and stayed in both nights enjoying a drink there. The Coop supermarket directly beneath the flat made shopping super easy, though there is also a Migros within a couple of minutes easy walking. The flat is very well equipped ( worth packing a few dishwasher tablets as they are not provided ) Would absolutely definitively, beyond doubt return to this property like a shot.
