Hotel Glocke was even more beautiful, well-appointed and eco-friendly than I even anticipated. The pictures on Booking.com don't do it justice! The sauna facilities were world class, the food was delicious (using local produce) and the use of wood, stone and earthy-arts in the rooms and beyond gave the entire place as wonderful, nourishing feel. Though there is a professional staff on hand, the owner helps to serve meals (to guests who he has come to know by name), his father plays the hammer dulcimer and tells German folklore stories on Tuesday evenings and the hotel is situated in a valley with hiking, biking and breathtaking mountains right on the doorstep. There is also massage available on the premises and yoga offered some mornings. Sitting in the hammock on my porch, breathing in the cool mountain air on a summer's afternoon, was about as peaceful as I've felt in a long time! Many thanks for the wonderful stay.

Awesome hotel. The rooms are simple yet there is a great attention to detail. The entire hotel is well maintained and staff is super friendly and helpful. I recommend dining onsite, the food was superb.

The hotel is clean and the staff are very friendly. They have a great ski waxing room, too. The food was top-notch, too.
