The Marthahaus Hotel offers you individually and tastefully furnished rooms in a quiet residential area of Bern, close to the city center, the main station the main train station and tram line 9 to the BEA-Expo, the Stade Wankdorf or the Postfinance Arena. This is a lovely place with lovely people managing. Very comfortable and nice to be a bit in the suburbs. It is easy to get to the main train station using the buses. Staff is excellent at being very helpful with directions and things to do.

The location was great, very easy to get into the old town by bus or bike share, and also within walking distance is nice restaurants, wine bars, and gelato. The balcony was very charming, and the breakfast area opened onto a nice courtyard.

Very good location, walking distance from city center and main attractions. Quiet neighborhood. The breakfast is ok.

The room was very nice. It had a balcony and very comfortable beds. We really appreciated that hot and cold drinks were available to us throughout the day. The breakfast provided varied choices and all food was very fresh. Reception and food service staff were extremely helpful and very pleasant.
