Описание
The Relais & Chateaux Schönegg is located on a hill above Zermatt and is connected to the center via a mountain elevator. It offers a 24-hour reception, free WiFi and a view of the Matterhorn. The units at the Schönegg all come with a mini-bar, cable TV and a private bathroom with a shower. Most of the units feature a balcony. In addition, the suites provide a seating area. Guests at the Hotel can enjoy a daily breakfast buffet, including local and home-made products. The on-site restaurant provides a view of the mountains from its sun terrace. The Schönegg Spa is currently undergoing major refurbishment and will therefore be closed from June to November 2024. The reopening of the new Infinity Spa (offering in/outdoor pools, Jacuzzi, wellness center and massage rooms) is planned for December 2024. All our guests staying in summer 2024 will benefit from complimentary spa/pool access in our partner hotels. For more infos please contact the property. Amazing location and facilities. The view to Matterhorn is spectacular. Staff is always eager to help, especially Shuara from the reception desk. Will come back!

The view from the restaurant is amazing
The hotel sits high overlooking Zermatt and is close to the Sunnegga lift. It has a traditional, old-school Swiss feel to it--which we really liked. There is an awesome tunnel in the village that leads to a lift for easy access to the hotel. Our room had a great view of the Matterhorn when the weather allowed. The breakfast was delicious and loved by everyone in our family. The linens were cozy and comfortable. The hotel staff serviced our room every day and provided turn-down service at night. The convenient boot room with warmers and locked ski room were much appreciated. The deck provided a great view of the village apres ski. And the cozy bar was a nice final stop in the evenings.
Amazing restaurant with high quality food, great service and incredible views of Matterhorn. Hotel staff was super friendly including pickup and drop-off at train station.
