The view from the balcony is amazing! The apartment is located in a small town where locals live (not a tourist area at all). The hosts was very nice and helpful. We had a car so it was very easy to get to and from the apartment, not sure as far as trains and taxi. The apartment is about 20 minutes from Montreux and about 50 minutes from Geneva (by car). We would definitely recommend staying here.
The apartment was wonderful for two adults . Was very clean and well supplied for daily needs. The bed was extremely confortable and we slept like babies. What was breathtaking, was the small balcony that had a magnificent view of Lake Geneva, the alps and the vinyards . The community of Pirdoux was lovely and very friendly. The location was wonderful to experience the coast of Switzerland and two fabulous cities, VeVey and Montreau. We will be back.
Absolutely everything! Awesome view of lake, mountains and even city lights at night…from every room! Great use of space made it super comfortable! Bright and airy—-just a wonderful feeling. You won’t want to leave!
It is also within walking distance of great breakfast and pastries as well as a COOP and pharmacy. Hosts are especially wonderful, welcoming and warm! We will be back!
The location is fabulous! Located with breathtaking views of lake Geneva. The host was very helpful and kept in touch throughout our stay. We had a lovely bottle of red wine on arrival and all the basics like toiletries, basic cooking stuff, water etc were included. We didn’t bring the right adaptors with us and the host kindly lent us some, which was really appreciated.
