The easyHotel Basel is located next to the Messe Basel fairgrounds, within walking distance from the center, 10 minutes by tram from the Main Train Station and 3 minutes from the Badischer Bahnhof Railway Station. The hotel is fully automated, the reception is only open at large trade fairs and congresses. You check in at the machine at the entrance (self-check-in). Nice, clean, easy to check in hotel in a good location
Automated self check-in and payment is easy, there is a n automatic baggage locker. Room is comfortable enough for human warehouse, not worse than other well know discounter hotels.
Guest is free to open windows and have a plenty of fresh air, heat radiator looks impressive.
The room had a good price for what it offered. We only stayed one night, but it was definitely a good experience! The room and bathroom were clean, additionally even though on a busy street, the room was very quiet at night.
The staff was really gentle and kind, the hotel stay also gave us the Basel card, so we had free public transportation and museums, the hotel is in a central position near Basel messe.
