Very nice staff and property. Having the hotel be able to book a safari for you is fantastic. According the bus station attendant in Thissa, route 10 buses leave at 7am and 8:10am from Thissa to Ella. The full bus route is from Katharagama to Kandy, which is shown on the bus signage along with its route number. The bus from Thissa to Ella costs 467 Sri Lankan rupees (about usd$1.58 at the time of this post)

The best stay in Sri Lanka so far. Priya was so helpful! He sent us the bus schedule from Ella to Tissa, he drove us around the lake to see crocodiles and birds, and bats at a late time, he also arranged the safari in Yala for us for a great price, and prepared an early breakfast before leaving at 4:30. He drove us with his tuktuk when we needed to catch the bus to Tangalle and checked that we had successfully arrived. The room was also cozy and the location of the hotel is not far from the main road.

Priya was very attentive and contacted us right away and helped us booking the safari for the next morning with a great driver. The room was clean and comfortable! We greeted us on arrival with fresh coconut and cold towels and that alone was amazing after couple of hours driving the tuk tuk there. We wish had more time to spend an extra night there. Thank you for your hospitality!

The host was incredibly friendly and helped us out with any matter we had and also organized an amazing safari for us. After we arrived he took us for a little bird tour, which was really nice. He treated us with a fresh coconut, fruits and little snacks. The hospitality was outstanding. The room and generally the whole property was clean and comfy. We felt really welcomed and enjoyed our stay! We can definitely recommend this awesome place! Thank you very much for everything, we will come back! :-)

The place was very nice and clean, the food was tasty and there were many options to choose from, the host was very kind, he took us by tuk tuk from/ to the bus station and he took us on a free of charge bird-watching tour nearby. Also, the safari to Yala National Park arranged by the host was amazing!
