Nice place, quiet, close to the city center.
The bed was very comfortable and the room was spacious and very clean.
The staff is very friendly and very service oriented.
Since it was Sri Lankan new year, all shops and restaurants were closed in the city. They did not hesitate to help me arrange some food.
I had a great time and highly recommend this place.
Hotel is in a quiet & good location, easily accessible to most sightseeing places. We were welcomed by hot tea & coffee and yummy butter cookies. Breakfast was western with toast, jam, butter & omlette, fresh fruits and string hoppers with srilankan curry and was very tasty. Extremely hospitable and kind landlady and ever-smiling staff Gagan who cooks yummy food, as we also had dinner at the hotel’s rooftop restaurant on 2 nights. Family rooms were huge & spacious, bathrooms clean and hot water flowing anytime of the day or night. Highly recommend if you want a quiet & relaxing stay.
Very comfortable homestay - great balcony overlooking the mountains and super breakfast.
Very hot shower with plenty of water in both morning and evenings.
Best room we stayed in in Sri Lanka. Beautiful and very comfy. Staff is extremely helpful, they even booked a day trip for us with a lovely tuk tuk driver. We loved it.
10 minutes walk for the center of city yes when you come back it’s a little steep but not that bad. I’m 66 with a bad knee but didn’t see any problems going back and forth to the city.
